ABVP Declared DUSU Panel

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has declared its panel for Delhi University Students’ Union elections. Neha Singh, a resident of Janakpuri would be candidate for the post of President. ABVP has tried to give representation to all the campuses of DU.

Neha Singh pursuing M. A. from Buddhist studies department. She has completed her B. A. from Aurobindo College in English (Hons) and was Secretary there in the council. She had contributory participated  in the Anna’s movement against corruption.

Vikas Yadav is contesting for the post of Secretary from ABVP. He is a student of B. A. Final Political Science from ARSD college. He was continuously raising demands for betterment of South campus.

ABVP preferred to give chance to its cadres in this union election. Vikas Choudhary is coming for the post of Vice President. He is pursuing B. A. Political science from Ram Lal college (morning). He is a national player of hockey.

Deepak Bansal is contesting for the post of Joint secretary form ABVP. A student of M. A. Buddhist studies he is a resident East Delhi. ABVP is demanding for East Campus since long time and Deepak is raising the issues and concerns of students of colleges of east campus.

This time ABVP is taking an issue of new colleges not been opened in DU since last 12 years as well as rampant corruption in the country. ABVP is raising the problems of common students happening due to unavailability of hostel rooms also as said by Dr. Sanjay Kumar (Media Incharge ABVP).

ABVP State Secretary Rohit Chahal said at the time of candidate declaration that ABVP would try to bring back the glory of students’ union and student movements by consecutive win in this year.(Press Release)
