New Delhi, 03 September: ABVP presidential candidate for DUSU Neha Singh has accused NSUI of spreading hooliganism in campus. Referring to the FIR filed on the NSUI presidential candidate Ajay Chikara and the incident of scuffle which happened yesterday she said that this shows the criminal character of NSUI. They have nothing to do with genuine student issues and they surface only in the election season to do their dirty politics.
She claimed that by this incident it is very much clear that before elections NSUI is divided into various groups. That’s why they are taking shelter of such goondaism and are destroying the academic atmosphere.
Neha Singh has demanded from the university administration to cancel the nomination of NSUI presidential candidate Ajay Chikara on the basis of his involvement in criminal activities.(Neha Singh's statement on FIR registered against NSUI Presidential candidate)
