Battle is not against NSUI but against corrupt Congress government - Neha Singh


New Delhi, 7 September: ABVP panel is receiving huge support in DUSU poll. Today when ABVP team comprising of presidential candidate Neha Singh and Secretary candidate Vikas Yadav reached Dayal Singh college, more than 200 students welcomed them and supported them in their fight against corruption. Neha Singh told that this year the battle is against corruption of Congress government & not against NSUI. She further added that we are receiving enormous support and ABVP panel will surely win on all the 4 seats. This team campaigned and appealed the student community to vote for ABVP panel in PGDAV, Aurobindo college and South campus of the university. ABVP Secretary candidate Vikas Yadav said that safety of girl student in south campus is a major issue. Last year after the tragic death of Radhika Tanwar, ABVP led DUSU forced the government to establish more police posts in this region but we feel that there is lot to be done and our panel will ensure for safety of students.
ABVP’s another team comprising of Vice President candidate Vikas Choudhary and Joint Secretary candidate Deepak Bansal campaigned in RLA, ARSD, Venky and Motilal college. Vikas Choudhary said that bad condition of canteens and water crisis is a major problem of South campus and we demand the administration that there should be a subsidized rate canteen in south campus and new water cooler should be installed in every college.  While campaigning in Dayal Singh, Aurbindo and PGDAV college Deepak Bansal said that connectivity of north and south campus is a major concern and ABVP demands that there should be shuttle bus service between the two campuses.

NSUI violating Lyngdoh norms - Rohit Chahal
ABVP today organized a street play against corruption in different colleges of north campus. The play happened at Vishwavidhyala metro station, Ramjas, Kirorimal, Hansraj and Hindu college. In this play the corruption done by congress government was exposed and ABVP appealed the student community to vote against corruption.
ABVP State Secretary Rohit Chahal said that NSUI candidates are violating the election norms set by Lyngdoh committee as they are using printed material for their campaigned. He further claimed that both centre and state government machinery are involved in this election as congress wants to win this election at any cost but students are very vigilant this time and they well aware of the corruption done by congress governments and students will defeat this politics of corruption in this election.

Delhi Bomb blast is consequence of Centre’s Petty Politics – Vikas Yadav
Vikas Yadav, Secretary candidate of ABVP blamed Central governments petty politicsfor today’s bomb blast in Delhi. He told that in spite of punishing terrorists our government is busy in appeasement of minority and messing with national security. He tribute to deceased persons and told that today ABVP activists donate blood for the injured people.
